Title ProperTime to abandon the neoliberal line
LanguageENG
AuthorNaohiko, Jinno
Publication2007.
Summary / Abstract (Note)The policies of Prime Minister Abe's administration are a recap of the neoliberalism that was all the rage in the 1980s. But this is an ideology that has been tried and found wanting. It accepts disparities, leading to the erosion of social order, and it stifles innovation by neglecting the necessary infrastructure of education and research. Japan is the only country that continues to espouse this line.
