Title ProperMirroring North Korea's growing economic dependence on China
LanguageENG
AuthorChoo, Jaewoo
Publication2008.
Summary / Abstract (Note)By "mirroring" trade and investment statistics of those engaged in such activities with North Korea, I calculate the prevailing net deficiency in food, fertilizer, and oil, and identify China as the source of replenishment for such deficiency. From such findings, we may infer the political ramifications behind China's persistent economic support for the North.
