Summary / Abstract (Note) | THE SHANGHAI COOPERATION ORGANIZATION (SCO) is drawing a steady, and clearly growing, interest all over the world. This is explained by the fact that its member-states (Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan) are the home for over one-quarter of the world population, that they possess a considerable and in a number of cases the main part of this planet's diverse natural riches, be it mineral, vegetable or biological, and that theirs is a considerable military potential, including nuclear missiles |
