| Summary / Abstract (Note) | The Embraer EMB-314 Super TUCANO fills a unique niche in the military aerospace market in that it combines the small airframe of a turboprop trainer with the advanced avoinics and weaponry of more advanced jets. This makes it a very cost-effective trainer that quite easily doubles as a light attack and counter-insurgency aircraft something which helps explain its recent export success, especially in Latin America. |
