Summary / Abstract (Note) | Defence R&D is known to be a mission oriented activity comprising both basic and applied research, which involves development and fabrication, as well as testing of new weapons and weapon systems. The need today at the world level is project -based intensive R&D, so as to come up with high quality items even if it means a slight compromise on quantity. India is also in the churning process of deciding what the priorities should be. |
