Summary / Abstract (Note) | Afghanistan is an increasingly complex environment set to test our traditional approaches to planning and problem solving. With an evolving commitment, an ambitious force development plan up to 2030 and ompeting demands, there is a need for planners from all services to consider more innovative and adaptive approaches to mission planning. This article offers a few thoughts based on the author's experience in Afghanistan to aid in stimulating new approaches to both this and future operational thinking and planning. |
