Summary / Abstract (Note) | THE WORLD FINANCIAL and economic crisis has brought out the great interdependence of national economies under globalization conditions. Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev has noted that under the circumstances "we all become hostages to changes in the macroeconomic parameters of the world's largest economies. In order to see this coming well in advance, we must commit ourselves to studying the situations in our respective countries."1 The idea for mutual monitoring of the state of affairs in national economies was one of the important decisions of the G20 Summit in Pittsburgh in September 2009. |
