| Summary / Abstract (Note) | On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II a scholarly conference was held at RAS IFES on November 16, 2010, devoted to cooperation between the U.S.S.R. and China during the war and their contribution to victory. The conference has been arranged within the framework of various functions taking place in the Russian Federation in connection with the anniversary. The conference was organized by the Institute for Far Eastern Studies of RAS and the Chinese Institute of International Studies at the PRC Foreign Ministry. More than twenty research associates and post-graduate students from Russian and Chinese research institutions and centers, as well as representatives of the government apparatus of Sakhalin Region attended the conference. |
