Summary / Abstract (Note) | The author retraces the evolution of the "war on terror" concept, from its inception following the events of September 11, 2001 to the present day. He points to the inappropriate use of this concept for the United States' special operations in Afghanistan and, to an extent, in Iraq. He also offers an analysis of where these operations can lead in the context of modern international law and interests of Russian foreign policy. |
