LanguageENG
AuthorHongwei, Zhang
Publication2013.
Summary / Abstract (Note)Since last year, some new changes have taken place in the situation of Sub-Saharan Africa (hereinafter referred to as SSA). The overall political stability has turned for the better, economy has maintained rapid growth, the integration process is steadily moving ahead and its international standing has been remarkably enhanced. However, the various challenges and uncertain factors the region faces should not be neglected. Along with the successful convocation of the 5th ministerial meeting of China-Africa Cooperation Forum (CACF), the all-round pragmatic cooperation in the political, economic and cultural fields between China and Africa is moving ahead on a solid basis. A new-type China-Africa strategic partnership is facing new development opportunities.
