Summary / Abstract (Note) | When I wrote my second book on India's maritime security 13 years ago, I lamented the 'abysmal neglect of maritime affairs by successive governments' and the lack of importance of maritime affairs in India's 'future security policy considerations'. The book argued that what was required to overcome this was a national maritime security policy to facilitate coordination among multiple domestic stakeholders, as well as the establishment of a 'comprehensive and pro-active maritime strategy' |
