Summary / Abstract (Note)Canada's defence procurement policy has come in for significant criticism in recent months and years. Some of that criticism resolve around a perceived lack of clarity in the acquisition process, some of it around the choices that have been made for equipment and services to bolster Canadian defence capability for the future, and a significant number of slings and arrows have targeted the cancellation or indefinite postponement of projects that have attracted considerable interest and effort from industry.
