LanguageENG
AuthorOnkar, A B ;  Dhomane, G A ;  Moharil, R M
Summary / Abstract (Note)One of the biggest challenges India is facing is the quality of energy conversion in energy production systems and another is how the energy produced could be distributed to the users in a most sustainable way and at reasonable cost. Coal is the key source of commercial energy in India. The environmental impacts associated with coal based thermal power plants include emission of CO2 NOx particulates and Sox conventional subcritical technology is presently used for coal based electricity generation.
