Summary / Abstract (Note)The interactions between China and South Asia are of old antiquity. The earlier engagement in ancient times between China and the South Asia was confined largely to the religio-cultural sphere (ibid). However, the ties between China and South Asian countries have witnessed a significant transformation in contemporary times with comprehensive interlinkages developing in the domain of both geopolitics and geoeconomics.
