Summary / Abstract (Note) | Korean Peninsula has been one of the most potentially volatile and dangerous regions since World War II. At the same time while South Korea made tremendous economic progress under the American shadow following the “flying geese” pattern, North Koreans achieved the nuclear edge and exceptional missile launch capability, mostly through clandestine means much to the chagrin of the regional and extra regional powers especially Japan, South Korea and USA as it had balked on the Non Proliferation Treaty and hence became a threat to the allies and the Hyper Power itself. |
