Other Title Informationthe North Korean experience
LanguageENG
AuthorMishra, Abhishank
Summary / Abstract (Note)Thus, the engagement between the two Korea’s and between North Korea and America, has made the international community believe that there can be a practicable solution that can be reached to provide some stability to the region. However, if one critically analyses, the turn of events one sees that North Korea has been able to manipulate America into first of all recognizing North Korea as a nation in East Asia, ridding it of its ‘Rogue status’. Secondly, North Korea has been able to achieve an equal platform in negotiating with the US on issues that concern it like sanctions.
