Summary / Abstract (Note)This paper justifies the need to form and develop a public-private partnership model carrying out defense projects. It examines specific features of interaction between the public and the private sectors of economy, factors hampering its progress, problems, and contradictions. The paper advances arguments in favor of achieving more efficient fulfillment of State Defense Order assignments by adopting the practice of life-cycle contracts.
