Summary / Abstract (Note) | Nigeria’s search for a durable solution to the problem of internally displaced persons so far has resulted only in the drafting of a national policy. Steve Ross Omisore, Olufemi Abifarin and Amade Roberts Amana argue that the policy statement must not be dismissed cursorily but rather should be regarded as a formulation of state practice. They also investigate the current scenario, where the rights and obligations in the national policy appear to have cohorts in binding treaties and national laws. |
