Summary / Abstract (Note) | This article deals with the main directions of policy pursued by People's Republic of China in Southeast Asia (SEA). Political, trade, economic, cultural and educational measures of China to strengthen its influence in Southeast Asia are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the organization of trade and economic cooperation and ensuring the regional security of China together with the SEA countries. We also consider the problem of the South China Sea in relations between China and ASEAN countries. |
