| Summary / Abstract (Note) | China-Pakistan has been old friends but China-India has been old rivals due to their many unresolved issues in general but the border issue in particular. China-Pakistan has no border issues. Accordingly, China-Pakistan agrees on the project of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) which is a framework for regional connectivity and economic cooperation. India did not join the CPEC on the ground that it passes through territory which is dispute between India-Pakistan viz Gilgit-Baltistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). |
