Summary / Abstract (Note) | Water is of utmost importance for survival of human life. It has religious importance too. Conservation of water as natural resource needs an effective management. Unfortunately, due to expansion of urban infrastructure, water quality and quantity are depleted, particularly in tropics. India has shown progressive decrease in per year water availability (1486 cubic meter per year in 2021), thereby, leaning towards water stressed conditions in the present scenario. |
