Summary / Abstract (Note)The Earth is getting warmer, and the efforts are not enough to keep it from going beyond a critical limit of 1.5 degrees Celsius. The fact that the limit has already been breached and the plans we have in place to cope up with climate change are not doing the job they need to do which puts the world in a situation of crisis.COP 28 became a platform where solutions and pathways were showcased from global community and civil societies. Dubai managed a ‘Green Zone’ where youth, NGOs, businesses and other stakeholders were allowed to discuss and exchange ideas through posters, exhibition and presentations, the solutions for a net zero future. This COP was beyond a conference.
