Summary/Abstract |
Thoughts on the essence, features, and future of Chinese socialism are analyzed. The ongoing development and enrichment of the concept of socialism with a Chinese face as it applies to certain cultural and civilizational features of China and its socioeconomic and political structure are considered. The content of the scientific concept of development and its practical application are discussed. The great importance of the theory and practice of building socialism in China for the future of national rebirth and realizing humanity's dream of a fair and just society with universal prosperity is demonstrated.

Summary/Abstract |
The article analyzes the main areas of development of the strategic partnership between Russia and China today. The author examines the characteristics of their interaction in mitigating the consequences of the global financial and economic crisis, and explores the state of bilateral commercial, economic, cultural, and humanitarian relations between them. Problems of, and prospects for, cooperation between the two countries on the international stage are also analyzed. The article identifies a number of problems and bottlenecks that affect the effectiveness of relations developing between Russia and China, suggests ways to overcome them, and makes a major conclusion that full-scale promotion of bilateral strategic partnership serves both countries' fundamental national interests.

RUSSIA'S STRATEGIC TURN to the East has revived the academic and social-political discussion about our country's Eurasian self-determination and an adequate understanding of its Eurasian identity. It seems, however, that we have not yet grasped the true philosophical, geoeco-nomic and geopolitical significance of Russian Eurasianism; we should arrive at its comprehensive understanding and formulate its definition.

The article examines the main development trends in the study of Chinese philosophy and religion in Russia in the 1990s. Among the major trends mention should be made of the creation of encyclopedic reference publications, the study of the influence of Chinese philosophy on the formation of the image of Chinese civilization, investigation of the modern role of Confucianism, and revelation of the specific features of the theoretical and methodological foundations of traditional Chinese thinking.
