Summary/Abstract |
The author has tried to locate the connectivity of ASEAN-India and Myanmar. Myanmar sighted that India is an essential dialogue partner of ASEAN and is playing a crucial role in regional peace and stability. A very important observation is that Myanmar and India's North-Eastern region share similar conditions when compared to ASEAN and mainland India, respectively. For India, Myanmar is strategically important because of its geostrategic location, linking the regions of East Asia, Southeast Asia and South Asia.

Summary/Abstract |
Climate change impact on ecosystems brings along changes in genetic, species, and ecosystem biodiversity The effect of climate change on water resources is particularly manifest in Central Asia. In this region, water resources are crucial for a wide range of issues related to national and regional security. Providentially Climate change could magnify the risk of floods, mudflows and landslides in the mountains, including glacier-related hazards. The Central Asian countries are still failing to develop and implement strategies on how to deal with climate change, which could have very serious consequences for the region. Finding the balance between energy generation, such as large-scale hydropower, and water provision for large-scale agriculture is difficult and politically sensitive.

Summary/Abstract |
A peaceful and prosperous Sri Lanka would always be in India’s strategic interest. Sri Lanka is significant for India as it is the latter’s closest maritime neighbor. Last but not the least India adopts a pro active policy towards Sri Lanka, in order to not only save the people but also for its own security reasons. India’s own growing economic interests in Sri Lanka have also tempered its political activism. In times of crisis, whether political, military, or international, Sri Lanka has generally taken India into confidence for consultation and advice.

Summary/Abstract |
Although India played a major role in the establishment of an independent Bangladesh on April 17, 1971, New Delhi's relations with Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, were neither close nor free from dispute . In 1975 Bangladesh began to move away from the linguistic nationalism that had marked its liberation struggle and linked it to India's West Bengal state. Instead, Dhaka stressed Islam as the binding force in Bangladeshi nationalism.

Summary/Abstract |
Among the modern Indian thinkers Manabendra Nath Roy was more a philosopher than a mass leader. He was, essentially, one of the greatest thinkers of the twentieth century and truly a citizen of the world. His philosophy may be described as a mid-twentieth century version of the Renaissance modified and enriched by the experience of the intervening centuries.
