Situated in the oil-rich and volatile Persian Gulf region, Iran and Saudi Arabia are two of the most important regional players, which are at loggerheads since the last several years. The importance of these two countries lies in the fact that stability in the wider West Asian region has begun to be determined by the nature of their relations.
