| Summary / Abstract (Note) | Barack Obama took office as President of the United States of America on 20 January, 2009. At a time when the United States is in crisis, becuase of the Bush doctrine, the strategic blunder (in Obama's words) of the Iraqui war and the disasters caused by the financial turmoil, the American people place a lot of hope o the new President, and the international community also has expectations in varying degrees of him. Those who are interested in international affirs are all closely following what he says and does in the hope to discern the trend of his foreing policy. |
