| Summary / Abstract (Note) | This article discusses the trajectory of citizenship (re-)formation in relation to governance strategies in Hong Kong. Extending Marshall's theory with a notion of democratic citizenship, it shows how the governance strategies become increasingly inadequate and how civil society's new proposals outgrow the conventional model of citizenship. |
