Summary / Abstract (Note)The Gallipoli campaign has served as a vibrant marker in naval history. Today we face distinct maritime challenges, many of which have been confronted and overcome before. It is still in the corridors and junctions of the sea that the threats lie, the lessons beckon and alliances can be formed. The navy, therefore, will continue to play an integral part in security both on land and water.
