Summary / Abstract (Note)The 123 Agreement, after hard negotiations, finally came up to the stage as the most important progress in US-India relations over recent years. The US-India Civilian Nuclear Deal, since the move was initiated in the form of Civilian Nuclear Cooperation Initiative (CNCI) in July 2005, has caused enormous debates in both the United States and India, but its impact will certainly go beyond the two countries.
