Title ProperVerdict against the negative
LanguageENG
AuthorNigam, Aditya
Publication2009.
Summary / Abstract (Note)There is one thing that stands out clearly in the otherwise diverse messages of the mandate in different states, it is that BJP has been decisively rejected. Attempts to deepen the communal divide and create an atmosphere of violence were not well received. BJP, the party of the Hindu Right, has lost voters across the country with the exception of Himachal Pradesh and Kanrnataka. The second most significant feature of the verdict is that UPA has returned to power, greatly strengthened and less dependent on most of its earlier allies, including the Left.
