Summary / Abstract (Note)This article examines the US - India relations in the context of the changed political scenario in the U S and the aftermath of the historic US -India 123 agreement, which the author feels may never have been signed under the present US government. The policies which both countries should adopt towards each other as they negotiate the turbulent waters of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran and China, steering through terrorism nuclear arsenals or environmental issues have been succinctly put forth.
