Zaitsev, Vspominaya Vietnam [Remembering Vietnam], Moscow, RFK-Imidzh Publishers, 2010) by the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Vietnam.

"We are who we are precisely because we have a memory and we have a past. The past of our nations and of our states is based on friendship and mutual assistance, particularly during the time Vietnam was fighting for its independence."
