| Summary / Abstract (Note) | The 6th conference of the International Society for the Study of East Asia was held in Vladivostok on September 9-10, 2010. Beginning from 2000, such conferences have been organized by the Institute of Asian Studies of the Osaka University of Economics and Law and the Center for East Asian Studies of Beijing University. In 2010 the number of the organizers of such conferences increased and included the Far Eastern Federal University, Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnography of the Peoples of the Far East, and Institute of Geography of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. |
