Summary / Abstract (Note) | Forty years ago, India won the 14-day Bangladesh War in an unprecedented and unambiguous manner. The war culminated in nthe dismemberment of Pakistan, and Bangladesh was born as the eighth most populated nation with 78 million people. 1 It is pertinent to revisit the war and study the politico-military aims and objectives in conjunction with the diplomatic challenges. |
