| Summary / Abstract (Note) | Russia and Vietnam are engaged in long-term, mutually beneficial, and comprehensive cooperation in the fuel and power industries, including production cooperation in the oil and gas industry, technological and economic collaboration in building hydro-, thermoelectric, and nuclear power generating plants, in coal mining, construction of electric power grids and pipelines, and in training skilled workforce for Vietnam. The author surveys the principal stages and fine points of cooperation between Russia and Vietnam in the power industry over nearly sixty years and identifies trends for future collaboration in this industry. |
