Summary / Abstract (Note) | In the history of India's struggle for freedom, M.N.Roy is remembered as a great political thinker, known for his originality. M.N.Roy started his political career as a revolutionary nationalist under the magnetic mentorship of Jatin Mukherjee, popularly known as "Bagha Jatin" and participated in several daring political actions, he was arrested and tried together with Jatin Mukherjee and 44 others in Howrah- Sibpur conspiracy case and was discharged for the lack of sufficient evidence in April 1911. |
