Summary / Abstract (Note) | Maritime security in India is hampered more by lack of appropriate legal norms and accompanying structure of sea governance than by inadequacy of enforcement capabilities. That was revealed when Indian maritime enforcement agencies had intercepted MV Alondra Rainbownear west coast in November 1999 and brought the pirated Vessel and persons on board for trail to Mumbai. |
