| Summary / Abstract (Note) | In the Joint Statement on the Further Broadening and Deepening of the Relations of Equal and Trusted Partnership and Strategic Interaction signed in Beijing the leaders of the two countries reaffirmed that these relations are among the most important foreign-policy priorities of the two countries, they are in line with the vital national interests of Russia and China, contribute to their development and prosperity, and strengthen peace, security and stability on a regional and global scales. The signed document paid great attention to bilateral cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, exchanges between young people and the development of cultural ties to broaden the social basis of bilateral relations. |
