Other Title Informationnational self-awareness in the mirror of constitutions

Summary / Abstract (Note)A SIMPLE SURVEY of constitutional law of different countries reveals that the factors involved in the formation of each nation state vary. The examples used in the article and the corresponding countries are grouped according to the factors which determined national self-awareness in each particular case. This classification is fairly conventional since the ideas present in the fundamental laws of different states have much in common. Indeed, the keynotes might be different while individual aspects receive more attention. This does not mean that there are no other, less outstanding yet very similar factors, arguments, statements, and references.
