| Summary / Abstract (Note) | Russian scholars have presented a comprehensive picture of the history of Chinese in Russia from the mid-19th century to our days. The study of the modern Chinese migration has been carried on in such important fields as the economic activity of Chinese migrants, the problems of "Chinese demographic expansion," adaptation and tolerance, and educational migration. An increase of the volume of low-skilled Chinese labor in Russia on a temporary basis is predicted. |
