LanguageENG
AuthorKauchak, Marty
Publication2013.
Summary / Abstract (Note)The US military services have seen their demand for small arms ammunition increase exponentially since the beginning of OIF and OEF. While the Pentagon continues to procure ammunition to support numerous combat operations, predeployment training events and the other "normal" day-to-day training, the services are also pursuing improvements in the lethality and other characteristics of small calibre ammunition. Military ground forces have an expanding number of small arms weapons to ensure their units and individuals can accomplish the mission in every climate and venue.
