Summary / Abstract (Note) | World Politics has been undeniably by the economic aspirations and enterprises of empires and great powers. The history of colonialism or the modern facets of neo-colonialist intervention have by and large driven the trajectory of geopolitical constructions and reconstruction. The British Imperial conquest gave way to immense American superiority over world production of goods and services, so much so that the breakdown of the Soviet Union more than anything else is attributed to its economic incapacity vis-à-vis the United States. |
