Summary / Abstract (Note) | In the present time, regional organizations like South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) are becoming an imperative and effectual new landscape for political and economic interaction in the world. SAARC is an organization comprising eight South Asian nations: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. It was established in 1985 by Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Afghanistan joined SAARC in 2007. |
