AuthorChoudhury, Prakash Kumar
Summary / Abstract (Note)Modi’s two day trip to Nepal has made both New Delhi and Kathmandu more optimistic expecting a turnaround in the low tide of relations. During his visit, he made the right moves and used the right words to woo the people of Himalayan state. In the backdrop of increasing Chinese influence in that country, it might be a deft move of strategic diplomacy. His broad-based positive projection to follow a healthy neighbourhood policy for regional cooperation and progress is really high appealing that is revealed from his eager move to neighbouring states and talk with leaders in those countries.
