Summary / Abstract (Note) | In fact, a number of major decisions were announced after Aero India, following the Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) meeting that took place in the last week of February. Decisions taken by the DAC to allow procurement of additional Swiss Pilatus PC-7 MkII basic trainer aircraft (BTA) and acquisition of an additional Lockheed Martin C-130 J ‘Super Hercules’ to make up for attrition, would have been welcome announcements during Aero India. |
