Summary / Abstract (Note)The author examines the state of today's Sino-Japanese relations and the prospects for their future development. The article describes main factors now complicating relations and analyzes Beijing and Tokyo's efforts to normalize relations in light of the Agreement of November 7, 2014 to restore bilateral relations, renew the dialog on foreign policy and the need to overcome "political difficulties," as well as the security issues.
