Summary / Abstract (Note)Let us assume that the ‘emperor of India’, Narendra Modi undertook his maiden voyage to Central Asian capitals and Ufa in his special plane Air India One. His intention was to clear the doubt in public perception that he neglected India’s extended neighborhood. Modi ventured into a land where there is no clear ‘India policy’ even after a quarter century of independence. Yet Modi wished to meet and confabulate with the Presidents of these countries within the span of just a week; the purpose of his visit, Indian interests and how both sides could harness their potential for mutual benefit.
