Summary / Abstract (Note) | The unprecedented devastation, both in terms of men and material, has brought the Syrian crisis into prominence into international politics of world order. The crisis has sucked in the Syrian citizens as rebels and as victims; the nation-states of West Asian region; the dreaded terrorist organizations of the world; ethnic community like Kurds; withal the major powers of the world. Needless to mention that each of the parties involved have their own vested interests, enough to transform Syria into a battle-field at the cost of life of men, modesty of women, and future of children. Involvement of too many actors has made the crisis so complex that peace seems to be a far cry. |
