Summary / Abstract (Note)The National Disaster Management Authority of India, set up under National Disaster Management Act 2005, has developed disaster preparedness and emergency protocols. It would be imperative for the civil administration at the state and district levels in India to develop their disaster management plans using these protocols and guidelines. Thus, after 2010 flash food, the district level disaster preparedness and emergency protocols have been initiated and implemented.
