| Summary / Abstract (Note) | This paper explores China’s responses to mega-regional negotiations, including the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership. By examining Chinese elite discourse, the policy-oriented study finds that China’s approach is related to the domestic political debate on a “second WTO accession” and China’s strategy toward the changing regional architecture. |
